Knoxville Girls Basketball Coach Matt Ritchhart has been named the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Southeast Region class 4A Coach of the Year. Ritchhart guided the Panthers to a 15-8 season in 2022/2023. The Panthers improved by five games after posing a 10-12 record last year and finished 3rd in the South Central Conference with a 9-5 record. The Panthers also finished 6-3 in non-conference games. Ritchhart says all the credit goes to the players and his assistants.
