The National Balloon Museum will have a new exhibit portraying the first balloon flight beginning in March, re-imagined, designed, and painted by Jean-Pierre Lair from Texas. The exhibit shows the first flight in 1783 in France, and will have an open house with Jean-Pierre and his wife Lydia to tell the story of the balloon flight. The open house will be on Saturday, March 4th from 1-4pm, with the program beginning at 2pm, with all invited. The National Balloon Museum is located at 1601 North Jefferson Way.
