After their best overall season since 2016-17, the Pella girls basketball team is getting recognition from different organizations for their efforts.

Kylie Tauke and Kennedy Van Vark were selected to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Class 4A All-Region team, based on the schools in their 2023 postseason bracket. Blaine Forsythe was selected as the All-Region Coach of the Year as well.

Pella finished the 2023 season at 17-6 in the regional finals against Glenwood, and were ranked #8 in Class 4A in the final IGHSAU poll.

Tauke has earned Academic All-State honors from the IBCA and the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. This is the first postseason honor for Van Vark this season.
