Carousel Theatre in Indianola is beginning their performance of their spring 2023 show next Friday, showing Rumors written by Paul Simon. Assistant Director Alex Lindsley tells KNIA News Rumors is a witty, adult-humor style show that features multiple styles of comedy, and will have a unique Carousel Theatre style to the popular show due to director Michelle Vaudrin’s influence.

“It’s really easy to go out and look at pictures and videos of how other people in other places have done it, and we didn’t want to see anything else. She has really brought that vision to life, that is what is setting us apart. This long-time experienced actress, now taking the reins as the director, and she has really helped guide this production in a really interesting and unique way.”

Shows are on March 10th, 11th, and 12th, and again on March 17th, 18th, and 19th. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7pm, with Sunday shows at 2pm. For more information, tune in to today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
