The Simpson College women’s gymnastics capped off its inaugural season with a team score of 181.775 at a tri-meet with Winona State and Wis.-Eau Claire.

Kaelyn Tally and Emma Tolbert posted the top finishes for the Storm, with Tally placing second on vault (9.55) and Tolbert earning third place on floor (9.525). Both gymnasts have finished top-3 in their respective events in five of eight meets this season, combining for seven titles along the way.

The Storm began the meet with a 42.625 on bars and earned higher and higher event scores as the night progressed; Simpson compiled a 45.750 on beam, a 46.625 on floor and a 46.775 on vault.

Wynter Poolaw led the team on bars with a score of 8.875 and Chloe Radmer collected a career-best 9.35 on beam.

Wis.-Eau Claire claimed the team title with a total score of 185.100 and won both beam (47.25) and bars (45.125). Winona State finished second in team standings with a 184.725 and took first on vault (47.050) and floor (47.325).

Simpson wraps up its first campaign with an average score of 181.947. The Storm’s highest event average was a 46.689 on vault, closing followed by floor (46.388) and beam (46.116).
