Nine weeks from today, thousands of visitors will converge on the Tulip City for its signature celebration, and as the calendar flips to March, preparations are ramping up even more from those organizing the 88th Tulip Time.

Executive Director of Pella Historical Museums Valerie Van Kooten and Assistant Director Jessi Vos both say as spring approaches, so does the reopening of the Pella Historical Village, which means the festival is getting closer quickly.

One of the ways residents can prepare is by purchasing their Dutch costumes at the annual market, this year to be held March 30th through April 1st, according to Vos.

Those who would like to sell their costumes must drop off their cleaned uniforms on Wednesday, March 29th. Click here to learn more about selling.
