The 11th Annual Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization (KRCO) Fundraiser was held at Dyer-Hudson Hall in Knoxville Saturday February 25.

There was a silent auction followed by a live auction. The organization has been together in Knoxville since 1986 providing safety at the race track.

Brooke Nott, president of the KRCO tells KNIA/KRLS News about the fundraiser, “We had a great turnout. Checkered Flag Concessions served a very nice pasta supper. We had a great turnout for the auction and  all of the money will go toward the driver safety fund for 2023.”

According to Nott over 200 items were donated for the auction. Nott has been on the board for nine years and she added that the turnout for the event was one of the better turnouts. She added that she believes race fans are ready for the season to get started.
