Jenna Joseph wrapped up her historic freshman campaign at the NCWWC National Championships Friday evening.
Wrestling against the best in the nation, Joseph was put to the test right away with a match against Jewel Gonzalez of Gannon University. Gonzalez was ranked No. 7 at 170 pounds in the final set of NWCA rankings and won the match by a score of 3-1.
In her second match of the tournament, Joseph was pinned by Chadron’s Kamila Montenegro in 5:02.
Joseph finishes the season with a 28-10 record overall. She tallied 13 technical falls and seven pins along the way.
