The Knoxville City Council met last night in regular session. On the agenda was a public hearing for the FY 2024 Budget and adopting the 2023-2024 Budget for the city of Knoxville. This year’s budget contribution to the reserve fund was $25,000. An approval of the vacation of a water line easement was approved. An approval for a contract for the Conrey Storm Sewer Improvements Project was tabled as one easement in the neighborhood hasn’t been signed yet.

The agenda included the first consideration for adopting the subdivision of duplex and rowhouse dwellings to accommodate their sale to separate owners with the second and third considerations waived. A resolution approving a license to occupy between the city of Knoxville and the Marion County Fair Association for parking in the area of a soccer field, and it was approved.
