The Knoxville Bowling Squad were a work in progress this season. The girls showed improvement nearly every meet out and scored their best games during the State Qualifier. The boys also made great progress with Tristen Carter representing the Panthers at the State Meet. Coach Shaun Renard tells KNIA/KRLS Sports both teams were bowling their best by season’s end, it was just bad luck during the State Qualifier.

Renard: “The boys did show a lot of improvement throughout the season and what hurdles they had to get over during the season. The State Qualifier the pins just didn’t fall and that left a sad day and a lot of frustrated players.”

The Panthers lose five seniors between both teams, however, Renard is excited to have the experience coming back and is looking forward to next season.
