The Indianola Water Resource Recovery Facility is up and running after nearly three years of building, and is currently 99% complete. Water Superintendent Rick Graves tells KNIA News the project was only $32,000 over the bid amount, and the timing of the program was helpful to work through the pandemic.

“When we took the bid it was pre-pandemic, so we didn’t really have too many issues with the pandemic getting supplies here. We lucked out there, because if we had waited too much longer, another year or so, we would have bid the project at a substantially higher amount.”
