The hilarious ‘farce-meets-murder’ mystery comedy gives each of the dinner guests an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well…dead. So whodunnit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard in a slapstick evening full of murder, mystery, and laughs as they seek to puzzle out the culprit. Based on the 1985 Paramount movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue: On Stage is the ultimate whodunit that will keep you guessing until the final twist.

“It has been so much fun rehearsing this play,” said the show’s director Marlo Van Peursem, “The slamming doors, the keyboard and sound effects, the lighting. It all gave the cast and crew a lot of laughs. The audience will be in for a delightful evening.”

The six suspects include Toby Vander Molen as Colonel Mustard, Liz Vink as Mrs. Peacock, Bridget Vande Zande as Miss Scarlet, Laurey Johnson as Ms. Green, Jema Settles as Mrs. White and Evan Tschetter as Professor Plum. In addition, Abby Dart plays the Butler Wadsworth and Mia Andringa plays the maid Yvette.

Other cast members include Corbin Westerkamp as Mr. Boddy, Anna Eveland as the Cook, Caden Albright as the Motorist, Jenna Vande Zande as the Unexpected Cop and Ellie Johnson as the Singing Telegram Girl. In addition, Simon Belzer and MaKenzi Groenendyk play the Chief of Police and the Backup Cop.

The stage changes quickly into such iconic rooms as the Dining Room, the Lounge, and the Study with the help of eight Scene Changers: Cora Bierma, Emma De Boef, Rebecca De Haan, Breece Gibson, Ryley Hoekstra, Aaron Meinders, Anniston Meyer and Anna Vermillion.

The production also has nearly 15 students as technicians and crew members. Students in leadership positions include Avery Verhoef and Rachel Lanferman (Student Directors), Alyson De Bruin (Production Coordinator), Erika Sytsma (Lights), Carson Tukker (Sound), Seth Vos (Sets), Daiva Van Maanen (Painting), Alayna Van Kooten (Makeup) and Leah Osborn (Box Office).

The production is being directed by Marlo Van Peursem with Tech direction by Daryl Van Zee.
