There will be an Open House Reception for artist Kelsey Nichols Thursday, March 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Knoxville Public Library
The reception will be followed by a short question and answer session with Kelsey at 6 p.m. It will be a chance to meet the artist, view new pieces and enjoy light refreshments.
Knoxville Librarian Roslin Thompson tells KNIA/KRLS News, “Kelsey works at the library and she is wonderful. She is also a middle school art teacher. We have some of her work on display in the display case in the lobby. She does some really fantastic work, really colorful, she loves dogs and we have some artwork where she’s used tootsie pop wrappers and made into pictures of the dogs she has known.”
The meet and greet event will run until 7:30 p.m. Thompson added they feel lucky to have Nichols at the library.
