Winter continues to scratch and claw to hang on in central Iowa, and after many in the eastern half of the state received moderate to heavy snow last night, a few areas locally may see similar conditions. A narrow snow band will move across central this morning with accumulations of 2-4 inches — mainly north of Interstate 80. Local conditions may see flurries mixed with light rain.
