The Norwalk girls track and field team and the boys soccer team are back in action today for their second event of the week.

The girls track team travels to Ballard for a meet at 4:30 p.m. The Warriors placed ninth in Tuesday’s outdoor season opener at Waukee.

The boys soccer team will play at Ames, with the varsity contest starting at 7:30. Both teams lost their opening game on Tuesday. Norwalk lost 5-3 vs. Dowling Catholic and Ames was defeated 2-1 by West Des Moines Valley.
