A community with connections to Pella needs help after several tornadoes battered their region.

Cary Christian Center, with Pella-based board members and a connection with Faith Christian Reformed Church, has many people that they serve in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. A series of powerful tornadoes ripped through the southern U.S. on March 24th.

A group from Pella will be sending a semi trailer to the area on Tuesday, April 4, seeking the following items:
•New underwear and sox – all sizes – male and female
•New pillows
•Towels – Bath and kitchen
•Toiletries
•Bottled water
•Paper products – toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, paper plates, etc
•Blankets
•Clothes and shoes – especially 2T – 5T
•Diapers and baby wipes
•Baby bassinets or Pack-N-Plays
•Food – Canned goods or non-perishables

These items can be dropped off at the garage in the Hospitality House at 215 E 12th, or at Faith Christian Reformed Church today from 9-5 and Saturday from 8-12 and next Monday from 9-5.
