The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad has a new coach this season. Bethany Johnson, who is a 2010 Knoxville graduate. Johnson, who was Bethany Just in high school, is hoping to continue the recent success of Knoxville girls soccer and even take it a little farther. Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that while there are a lot of new players in the line up this season, their goals are always the same.

Johnson: “I want them to set their goals high. I want them to crush them and nothing holding them back, I would like to advance as well, and it’s a goal for everybody and they can do that.”

The Panthers will take on Pella Christian at Randy Wilson Track on Monday.
