A pair of Indianola students were selected to have their art displayed in Governor Reynolds office last week week as a part of Youth Art Month in Iowa. During Youth Art Month, each school is welcome to submit 10 works of art, with 250 selected from hundreds of submissions across the state. Five Indianola students were selected as a part of the 250, including:
Sloane Nelson – Kindergarten
Ayda Neal – 2nd Grade
Mia Bries – 2nd Grade
Cece Patterson – 3rd Grade
Elliot Wagner – 3rd Grade.
Of those 250 students, 25 students are selected to be displayed at the Governor’s office, where Sloane Nelson and Elliot Wagner will have their work displayed in the office, and were able to tour the capital and meet the governor.
