It’s just about time for Pella’s favorite flowers to start showing their blooms, and an annual resource provided by the Pella Community Services department will help guide visitors and residents to the best places to see color over the next six weeks.

The annual bloom status map has been released, and will be updated regularly by City of Pella parks’ staff between now and the week following Tulip Time in mid-May.

The resource includes the types of varieties in City of Pella flower beds located in Central Park, Klokkenspel Plaza, Sunken Gardens, and Brinkhoff Park, and also includes the status of the rest of the 130,000 bulbs planted by the city and other displays at the Pella Historical Village, Scholte Gardens, Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Central College, and Pella Corporation.
