PCM Soccer Struggles In Loss to Chariton
The PCM soccer team fell behind early and couldn’t make up the difference at home against Chariton Thursday night, falling in the match 7-1. The Chargers took control in the first half, jumping out to a 5-0 lead before the Mustangs got settled into the match. PCM managed to get on the board, as Caden Bouwkamp netted his second goal of the season in the loss. The Mustangs soccer team fell to 1-2 on the season and will try to bounce back on Tuesday against a good Nevada squad.
PCM Girls Golf Finish 7th at Newton
The PCM girls golf team competed at the Cardinal Invite Thursday afternoon, finishing in seventh place. Eleigh Davis led the way for the Mustang girls at Westwood Golf Course, carding a 49. Meredith Chipps posted the second lowest score for PCM with a 67, while Riley Johannes and Belle Lorton each shot a 68 to round out the scoring. The Mustangs return to the course on Tuesday, competing in a triangular with Saydel and Nevada at Indian Creek Country Club.
