Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has issued a disaster declaration for Warren and Marion Counties, which allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of the severe weather that impacted the area Tuesday. Part of the disaster declaration includes the activation of the Disaster Case Management Program. The Disaster Case Management Program addresses serious needs related to disaster-related hardship, injury, or adverse conditions, and disaster case managers will work with clients to create a disaster recovery plan and provide guidance, advice, and referral to obtain a service or resource.
