The Indianola boys tennis team fell to Southeast Polk and Ballard in a triangular meet Friday afternoon, falling to the Rams 10-1 and the Bombers 9-2. The doubles pairings of Joe Comer and Michael Rothchild were the lone Indians to pick up a victory against the Rams as they won 8-4, while Kael Christiansen at #4 singles and Nate Winjum at #5 singles both won against Ballard, with Winjum winning 9-8 in a tiebreaker. Head coach Jamie Busby said the team knew they were running into some dangerous opponents early in the season, and the goal is to not let that get them down, and to keep working to make sure they improve from the challenge. The Indians next hit the court on Monday at Knoxville.
