A Friday night tilt in Carlisle went the way of the Wildcats in a 2-1 win over the Dutch boys soccer team. Pella and Carlisle were tied 0-0 after the first half, but the home team found the back of the next early in the 2nd half. The Wildcats padded their lead later in the contest. Markus Ljungberg was able to score for Pella in the final few minutes of regulation but that’s all the Dutch could muster before the final whistle. Pella falls to 1-1 on the season and heads to Dallas Center-Grimes on Friday.
