Local author and poet, Ashley Lovell, will read from her work and talk about writing books April 13 at 6 p.m. at the Knoxville Public Library.

Her recent writings are called, “Just let me stay this way forever,” and “You’re better off to leave before you hurt me.”

Rosalin Thompson, Knoxville Librarian tells KNIA/KRLS News, “Ashley is a local author and she has written several books and a lot of it is fantasy. We have her books in our collection. She also writes poetry, and so we are very happy to have Ashley at the library on Thursday at 6 p.m.” 

April 23-29 is National Library Week, the Friends of the Library will have their book sale April 28 and 29.

Stories and crafts will be held every in the month of April starting at 10:30 a.m. The International Film is slated for April 20 at 6 p.m.
