The Melcher-Dallas Girls Track and Field Squad finished 5th and the boys were 6th at East Union on Monday night. The girls got 1st place from Addi Wadle in the 800 in a time of 2:53.64 while Hailey Stegman placed 3rd in the 1500 in a time of 5:55.87. In the field events Maddy DeJong took 3rd in the long jump with a leap of 13-11 inches and Gabby Overgaard took 2nd in the shot put with a toss of 34-11.5 inches. The Saints were also 3rd in the 4×400 and distance medley relays. For the boys, Logan Godfrey won the long jump with a leap of 19-9 inches, he was also 3rd in the high jump at 5/8. Melcher-Dallas also got 3rd in the 4×200 and shuttle hurdle relays.
