PCM Boys Golf 2nd at Bondurant Invitational

Competing at Terrace Hills Golf Course in the Bondurant-Farrar Invitational Monday, the PCM boys golf team made their season debut with a 2nd place finish behind reigning Class 3A champions Gilbert.

The Mustangs shot a 314 as a team on the day. Grant Van Veen led the way for PCM in their first meet of the season, claiming runner up medalist honors after carding a 72. Easton Webb shot an 80 in the meet, while Jeffrey McDanel and Tate Tangeman each posted an 81 respectively. Rounding out the scoring for the Mustangs was Charlie Ford with an 82 and Nick Farver carding an 83.

The PCM boys golf team returns to action on Thursday, competing in the Des Moines Christian Invitational at Jester Park Golf Course.

PCM Girls Track 2nd at Iowa Valley, Boys Track 6th at East Marshall

The PCM girls track and field team kicked off a busy week with a second place finish at Iowa Valley Monday night, while the boys track and field team claimed sixth place at East Marshall.

Top finishers for the PCM boys at East Marshall included:

4×100 Meter Relay – Adrien Robbins, Griffin Olson, Evan Jones, Gavin Fenton (45.44) – 1st

4×200 Meter Relay – Adrien Robbins, August Stock, Gabe Hobbs, Evan Jones (1:34.19) – 1st

Shuttle Hurdle Relay – Gavin VanGorp, August Stock, Griffin Olson, Gavin Fenton (1:03.14) – 1st

110 Meter Hurdles – Gavin Van Gorp (15.89) – 2nd.
