The Pleasantville Trojan varsity boys golf team finished third in a conference quadrangular meet Monday in Earlham.

The host school won the meet with a score of 159, followed by Woodward-Granger at 169. The Trojans were third with a score of 185 and Madrid fourth at 207.

Pleasantville counted scores of 44 by Jaxx Lovell, Lincoln Card at 45, Ryder Thill 46 and Lukas Klootwyk at 50. Also golfing but not counting in the team total were freshmen Caylor Jones and Kayne Brent each with 52s.

The Trojans return to action April 17 at home as they host Chariton and Centerville starting at 4:15 p.m.
