An elevated fire weather risk will exist through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. A combination of well-above average heat, breezy winds, and low humidity will occur during the afternoon hours. A Red Flag Warning has been issued from 1 to 8 p.m. today. Outdoor burns can spread quickly in these conditions, and are not advised during the elevated risk. The next best chance for precipitation will be this Friday evening into Saturday morning, with much cooler conditions expected as highs drop into the upper 50s and low 60s into early next week.
