The recent high fire danger will continue today. There is a Red Flag Warning in effect for all of central Iowa, starting at noon and lasting in the early evening hours, according to the National Weather Service. A combination of above average temperatures, breezy winds, and low relative humidity has conditions favorable for fast-spreading outdoor burns.
