Eagles Girls Tennis Sweeps Saydel
The Pella Christian girls tennis team wrapped up a 2-0 week Thursday night, dominating the Saydel Eagles in an 11-0 sweep.
Despite missing one of their top four girls in the singles and doubles lineups and making additional tweaks to the lineup, P.C. comfortably won eight of the 11 matches on the night. Saydel managed to force tiebreaker sets at #2 and #5 singles, and almost forced a third set at #4 singles, but Pella Christian held on to claim all three of those matches.
The P.C. girls tennis squad improved to 4-0 on the season and will look to make it 5-0 on Monday when they welcome Knoxville to Eagle Lane.
