A stretch of unseasonably warm weather has several tulips showing color throughout the Pella community, and those planning a visit to town can see their status live before viewing. The City of Pella and Visit Pella have launched the annual live Tulip Cam, streaming flower beds near the Information Windmill in Central Park. This, coupled with their annual Bloom Status map and Coffee Time with Tulips Facebook show, provides regular updates about tulip blooms as peak season is about to begin ahead of the 88th Tulip Time in May.
