The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Shop Local Day later this month, a day set aside for Indianola and area residents to shop at the various businesses on the downtown Indianola square and surrounding area. Chamber President and CEO Amanda Zwanziger tells KNIA News residents and visitors can celebrate spring here in Indianola, and to check out all the spring and summer merchandise from local businesses, and statistics show every dollar spent here in Indianola stays in Indianola, and goes to local schools, roads, trails, and more, all for the betterment of the community. The Shop Local Day is April 29th.
