Competing in the Dutch Masters Invitational Friday afternoon, the Pella Christian boys golf team finds themselves in fifth place after the first day of the two-day tournament.

Isaiah Breems leads the Eagle boys after the first 18 holes of golf at Bos Landen Golf Course. Breems turned in a first-round score of 81, with Eliot Menninga not far behind with an 83. Deacon Branderhorst carded an 85 on the day, followed by Cooper Spronk and Landon Fransman each posting an 87 in the first round of the tournament. Dane Geetings and Carter Brand combined to wrap up the scoring for Pella Christian, shooting a 102.

The Dutch Masters Invitational resumes this morning with the final 18 holes of the tournament at 8:30 a.m. at Pella Country Club.
