For the second time in her rookie season, Central College’s Emma Beck is the American Rivers Conference softball pitcher of the week.

Beck, who also received the award March 13th, fanned 11 hitters in an 8-7 Central win at Simpson College Tuesday. She scattered six hits over 6.1 innings, walking five and allowing one earned run as she improved to 6-0.

Central, whose record stands at 22-4, is ranked #21 in the NFCA Division III poll. The Dutch host Nebraska Wesleyan University Wednesday in a conference doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex softball field.
