A round of late night thunderstorms impacted the area Wednesday into early Thursday. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team was on the air for three total severe thunderstorm warnings impacting most of Marion and Warren Counties from 10:45 p.m. to just after midnight. Four members were on air with coverage and Weatherology Meteorologists provided several updates. Spotter confirmed reports of hail were noted in Indianola up to quarter-sized and several communities received strong wind gusts. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning for Marion and Warren Counties.
