For the second straight week a forecast of rapidly falling temperatures and wind chills below freezing has put the red flag out for the weekend of racing at the Knoxville Raceway. The raceway along with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series officials have canceled the Xtream powered by Mediacom Showdown. The World of Outlaws will make their next visit to Knoxville on June 9th and 10th. Next week the raceway will try to get the 2023 season underway with the rescheduled Pella Motors/Kraig Ford 70th annual Season Opener.
