PCM Girls Golf Wins Triangular at Chariton

Competing in the Chariton triangular Thursday, the PCM girls golf team claimed the top spot after shooting a 220.

Helping the Mustangs shoot their new season low team score, Eleigh Davis was the meet medalist by shooting a 47. Brelee Berger came in third place in the triangular after posting a 55. Riley Johannes and Emilyn Davis rounded out the scoring for PCM with a 58 and a 60 respectively.

The Mustangs girls golf team wraps up a busy week today with a 4 p.m. dual against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont at Gateway Recreation Golf Course.

PCM Boys Track and Field Takes 3rd at Newton, Girls Finish 7th

The PCM boys track and field team took third place at the Newton Co-Ed Track and Field Invitational Thursday night with 81.5 points, while the Mustang girls came in seventh place with 50 team points.

Top three finishes for the PCM boys came from:

4×100 Meter Relay – Gavin Fenton, Gabe Hobbs, Griffin Olson, Evan Jones (45.24) – 1st

Sprint Medley Relay – Evan Jones, Gabe Hobbs, Jacob Wendt, Caden Bouwkamp (1:41.31) – 1st

Shuttle Hurdle Relay – Gavin Fenton, Griffin Olson, Adrien Robbins, Gavin VanGorp (1:01.84) – 1st

110 Meter Hurdles – Gavin VanGorp (16.26) – 2nd

100 Meter – Evan Jones (11.45) – 3rd

Long Jump – Gavin VanGorp (20’4”) – 3rd

4×200 Meter Relay – Griffin Olson, Gabe Hobbs, Caden Bouwkamp, Jacob Wendt (1:35.97) – 3rd

Placing in the top three of events for the Mustang girls was:
