The Pleasantville boys golf team hosted a West Central Activities Conference Meet with Des Moines Christian and Van Meter Thursday.

The Van Meter squad won the meet with a team score of 158. Des Moines Christian was second with a team score of 164 followed by Pleasantville with a team score of 176.

Individual scores for the Trojans showed a pair of freshmen leading the way. Freshman Lincoln Card shot a 42 and Caylor Jones a 44. Rounding out the varsity score for the day for the Trojans were Jaxx Lovell and Lukas Klootwyk each with 45s. Also golfing for Pleasantville but not counting in the team total for the day were freshman Kayne Brent with a 50 and junior Ryder Thill with a 52.

Up next for the Trojans is a trip to Ogden April 25 for a triangular.
