The Marion County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday and approved a liquor license for V.P. Venue LLC, The Gathering Grounds. They also approved Professional Consulting Services.

Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian was approved for a 4.5 percent salary increase which will raise his salary to $122,000

The board is moving forward with the VA Campus 28E Agreement and 104 South 6th Street.

The board heard resolutions on Mid-Iowa Planning Alliance for a Subdivision Ordinance which was approved. Two ordinances were also on the agenda, one for rezoning Agriculture to Commercial of 15 acres of land and waiving the second and third reading of the ordinance.
