The weather is turning a corner in the right direction and the tulips in Pella are nearing peak bloom, according to the Pella Community Services department. In their latest bloom status map, they indicate the most flowers available for viewing will be over the next week heading into the 88th Tulip Time festival. On their weekly Coffee Time with Tulips Facebook show, Pella Parks Director Chandler Nunnikhoven — with the help of the Tulip Queen and Royal Court, unveiled the location of the rare nightmare tulips in Central Park.
