IN THE PAST TWENTY-FOUR HOURS MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO 31 CALLS FOR SERVICE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: EIGHT PAPER SERVICE ATTEMPTS, FOUR MOTORIST ASSISTS, THREE ASSIST OTHER AGENCIES, TWO WELFARE CHECKS, TWO RESCUES, TWO ACCIDENTS, TWO REPORTS OF SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, ONE REPORT OF HARASSMENT, ONE GRASS FIRE, ONE RETURN CALL, ONE REPORT OF LIVESTOCK IN THE ROADWAY, ONE VEHICLE UNLOCK, ONE VEHICLE INSPECTION, ONE CAT AND ONE EXTRA PATROL CHECK.
