There are just four days of competition remaining before the 88th Tulip Time for the athletes in green and white, and several are in action at home.
Today, the Pella boys soccer team hosts a pair of ranked teams when they welcome #5 in Class 3A ADM this morning at 9 a.m., and clash with #3 in 3A Fort Madison at 1 p.m., who is undefeated. The Dutch have recent postseason history with both; Pella fell to ADM in the 2021 state tournament, and defeated the Bloodhounds to advance to the final eight last spring.
Also this morning, the Pella girls tennis team hosts their home invitational tournament with Pella Christian over on Eagle Lane at 9 a.m. Top individuals and doubles pairs from Waterloo Columbus, Oskaloosa, Ottumwa, and Davis County are also highlighted.
Plus, several Pella athletes are in action at the Drake Relays today for the third round of competition. Also in action early next week:
