The RSR, Ridge and Sons Race Shop and Contractor Condo buildings being built in Knoxville on Bell Avenue to the west of Wal-Mart and by the Vet Clinic are a little behind schedule for completion according to owner Brian Ridge.
Ridge said the race shop is around a month and a half behind schedule. According to Ridge, they are waiting to get hooked up with power into the building on Thursday. If that happens he said they should be able to start moving in the week of May 8.
Ridge tells KNIA/KRLS News, “Then we’re probably targeting about three weeks after that with the contractor condos, so we’ll be ready to start leasing those June 1st.”
The RSR building is roughly 10,000 square feet. It will be a private shop for RSR. Aaron Reutzel races primarily the 410 sprint car and Austin Miller the 360 car.
As far as the contractor condos they can go up to eight bays. Three are configured as double bays and the rest are single bays. Single bays are 25×60 and the doubles are 50×60.
