The Pella City Council approved a reserved capacity agreement with Missouri River Energy Services and a preliminary and final plat for the Triangle Properties Subdivision at their meeting Tuesday. The council also met Pella Ambulance Therapy Dog Nitro and created an Ad Hoc Committee for the proposed Southside Beautification Project along Oskaloosa Street.

During policy and planning, the council discussed a proposed agreement for Pella Community Ambulance to serve those outside of the city limits, potential increases to compensation for volunteer firefighters, review of an extension with Midwest Sanitation for garbage collection services, and a request to name the Southside Beautification Project in honor of Charles Farver. No formal action will be considered for those topics until a future meeting.
