A day after the boys golf team won the conference championship meet at State Center’s Lincoln Valley Golf Course, the PCM girls golfers took 4th place with a season-low team score of 408 in the Heart of Iowa Conference Championship Meet Wednesday afternoon on the same course.
All six of the Mustang girls recorded their lowest 18-hole round of the season on Wednesday. Eleigh Davis shot a 39 on the back 9 of the meet, to claim an all-conference eighth place finish with a total score of 91. Riley Johannes took five strokes off her lowest round of the season by shooting an even 100. Gretchen Uitermarkt recorded a 106 on the afternoon, while Meredith Chipps knocked 13 strokes off her previous season best score with a 111. Emilyn Davis and Brelee Berger rounded out the meet’s scoring for the Mustangs with a 113 and 120 respectively.
The Heart of Iowa Conference Championship meet concluded the regular season for the PCM girls golf team, and they are now off until the Class 2A Region 4A meet back at Lincoln Valley Golf Course on Friday, May 12th.
