The Pleasantville boys golf team played in the West Central Conference Golf Tournament Wednesday. The meet was held at the Lake Panorama National Golf Course in Panorama. Van Meter won the conference tournament with a team score of 338. Pleasantville finished in 6th place out of 11 teams with a score of 378.
Leading the way for Coach Chuck Sinclair’s Trojans was freshman Lincoln Card with a score of 89. Card’s score was good enough to earn 2nd team all-conference.
The rest of the PHS scoring for the day showed Brent Kayne shooting a 93 and Jaxx Lovell at 97 and Ryder Thill and Lukas Klootwyk each at 98. Only one of the scores at 98 counted in the varsity total for the day. Also golfing for PHS but not figuring into the score was Caylor Jones at 105.
The Trojans play at the Nodaway Valley Invite today at 1:30.
