The Simpson College men’s golf concluded its 2022-23 season at the American Rivers Conference Championships, held at the Geneva Golf and Country Club.

The Storm took eighth, but showed promising signs from its young lineup, with coach Jeremy Johnson electing to play four freshmen, all mainstays in the lineup throughout the year.

Jack Wahman played extremely consistent golf to lead the Storm in yet another event this season. Wahman took 18th overall with rounds of 80, 79, and 80 for a three-day total of 239.
Isaac Roe and Blake Perrin each tied for 34th, which included a 78 from Roe on day one. The 78 was the lowest round by any of the five Storm golfers over the three-day tournament. Perrin’s low round was an 80 as both golfers carded a three-day total of 251.

Bradley Kofoed was fourth in the Storm lineup with a 261 to tie for 42nd, while Garin Grinstead shot a 266 over the tourney to take 44th. The Storm now conclude its 2022-23 season and will look to begin offseason preparation ahead of the next fall season.
