The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Tuesday at 9 a.m. The board will look at renewing alcohol licenses for Slideways Karting Center and Wackos. The board will discuss appointments for Pella Board of Adjustments, Pella Planning and Zoning and Marion County Planning and Zoning.
Also on the agenda will be resolutions for transfer from Local Option Sales fund to debt service for interest payment on the Law Enforcement Center construction costs. Also a resolution for Iowa DOT agreement for Highway 92 sideroads.
There will be a public hearing on approval of the proposed Adkins Urban Renewal Plan. Discussion will take place on the Department 92 Project Funding and bonding disclosure. There will also be discussion on Origin Homes, Iowa Economic Development. The board will also hear resolutions for fixing a meeting date for a loan not to exceed $2,750000 and authorizing an amended 28E agreement with the city of Knoxville.
The board will also work on a resolution determining an area of the county to be an economic development area, among other items.
