May is National Bike Safety Month, a month set aside each year to remind commuters of the benefits of bike travel and ways to prevent danger, including the importance of wearing a helmet. The CDC says the importance of wearing a helmet, especially for kids, is critical for safety, and the helmet should fit snugly all around, with no spaces between the foam and bike rider’s head.
