The Marion County Extension Office has an event coming up called Terracotta Planter.

The event will be held May 18th at 5 p.m. at the Marion County Extension Office and the cost is $5 per person. If interested you need to sign up as soon as possible. Registration is limited to 15 people and they need to be registered by May 11th.

Adult Education Coordinator, Lydia Dingeman tells KNIA/KRLS what  Terracotta is, “Simply Terracotta is the type of pot you’ll be making a Terracotta planter with. You’ll make a little half dome planter that you can put out in your garden or in your home.” 

Terracotta Pots and seeds and soil will be provided for all participants. The event is open for kindergarten through adults.
